Business Development Officer

Description

  • Develop and launch partnerships for new business models and new channels of distribution (e.g. digital startups, banks, telemarketing, social media / influencer marketing, referral models).
  • Lead partnership development from prospecting to closing.
  • Support in managing digital health unit and developing and scaling digital health business of Allianz PNB Life (e.g. proposition development, project management, cross-functional collaboration, digital marketing, program monitoring and continuous improvement).

Key Result Areas (KRA)

  1. Develop and launch partnerships. 
  2. Deliver timely and quality programs for digital health unit.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Launch two new partnerships.
  • Meet KPIs for digital health unit (e.g. number of social media leads, contact rate, closing rate, cost per lead, and sales).

Technical and Job-specific requirements

  • At least 3 years work experience in the insurance industry with knowledge on life and health insurance products.
  • Versatile contributor who can prepare market studies, create highly personalized propositions/presentations per client/partner, and help develop and improve sales operations. 
  • Advance excel and PowerPoint presentation skills.
  • Can handle cold prospecting methods to direct clients/partners.
  • Interested and challenged to be part of a new team and build a Business Development department which will require participation in handling small and big tasks to reach the team’s objectives.
  • Independent, self-starter, and results-oriented with strong commercial, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills.
