Dear Colleagues,

Given the rising numbers of COVID-19 cases in the country, let me assure you that in Allianz PNB Life, your health and safety is of utmost priority!

But, I also want to take this opportunity to address the growing anxiety in our workforce. In this light, we are enacting our business continuity plans and assessing its resiliency.

Effective Monday, March 16, 2020, we are implementing work from home and skeletal workforce arrangements. Colleagues who are already equipped and assigned by their managers may work from home. Others who are not yet equipped or have insufficient internet connection may be asked to take part in our skeletal workforce in the head office depending on the nature of their responsibilities. Our goal is to enhance and expand our work from home capacity swiftly to maximize the number of colleagues who can fulfill their responsibilities outside of the office.

We have also formed a dedicated task force (Crisis Management Committee) working day and night to help us with further guidance and clarification, especially after yesterday’s announcement by the government. We have put in place protocols on employee travel and self-quarantine. The CMC will finalize further guidelines on safety measures and provide you with FAQ to address your concerns, still within the day.

To ensure that we are always here for our customers, we have an open communication line with IT for any issues you may encounter during your work-from-home set-up. You may call our Service Desk at (02) 8555-4911 or send an e-mail to

Let us also always remember to be more discerning in what we post on social media and reference reliable information from credible sources such as the World Health Organization (WHO) or Department of Health (DOH). Let us remain cautious while avoiding the spread of panic during these uncertain times.

More than ever, our customers are looking at us for service and guidance. Please pay close attention to your Viber groups so you are always kept informed and updated on ways in which we can be there for one another. Thank you for your support and collaboration.

May you have a restful weekend with your loved ones and remember: Have courage over COVID.
