Description

The Systems Analyst is responsible for providing and supporting computer information systems, including support for applications through process analysis, configuration consultation, problem resolution, and reporting. The Systems Analyst analyzes, designs, supports, and documents computer information systems, serves as project leader by actively participating in the development of systems, managing programming, testing, quality control, and implementation, and provides ongoing support to users through training, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Ability to perform more complex systems designs, develop, maintain, and interface complex applications using a variety of languages and platforms.
  2. Executes test plan during development and system testing and provides user acceptance testing or other testing as required to ensure that system processing reflects user requirements / designs.
  3. Create technical documentation for the programming team of all applications as a resource for future development and troubleshooting.

Technical Requirements

Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business

3-5 years of experience as IT developer; 2+ years as Analyst-Programmer

Knowledge in Systems Development Life Cycles, its stages, major tasks and deliverables

Ability to begin to lead small teams of developers
