The Counsel renders legal services for the different departments of the company, including giving legal advice, drafting and reviewing contracts and policy contract provisions. He/she liaises with external counsel handling litigation and other matters. He/she studies laws and regulations applicable to the business and assists the various functions to understand the requirements in order to comply.

1. Accurate and timely legal advice to the company's different departments in the exercise of their day-to-day functions.
2. a)      Respond to requests for legal opinions from different departments.
3. b)      Review and draft contracts.
4. c)       Assess legal and regulatory impact of proposed new or revised businesses, processes and procedures.
5. Innovative contributions to company-wide efforts to simplify the processes and procedures and to ensure we consider the best interest of the customer at all times.
6. a)      Provide legal review for projects to simplify documents and processes.
7. b)      Provide legal opinions related to digital, e-commerce, data privacy, records retention.
8. c)       Propose simplified provisions/text of new or existing policy contracts and customer-facing documents and materials.
9. Perform assignments that may be assigned by the Head of Legal from time to time.
10. a)      Review or draft internal policies for Legal Department.
11. b)      Review or draft local versions of Allianz Group policies.
12. c)       Other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
