Job Summary

The PMO Analyst is responsible for gathering relevant project data and tracking the overall status of projects. The PMO Analyst will assist the Head of PMO in compilation of information and ways of reporting the same to management. The PMO Analyst will be involved in multiple projects and ensure that the documentations relevant to the project are completed and coordinate with the team members to effectively track the action items.

Key Result Areas (KRA)

  1. Coordinate with Project Managers and ensure that all documentations relevant to the project are maintained and updated on a regular basis (stored in official project folder assigned).
  2. Support Project teams in the preparation of materials for formal approvals and status meetings.
  3. Work closely with project team members to ensure project tasks/deliverables, risks, and issues remain on track and monitored.
  4. Support facilitation of bi-weekly PMO+IT meetings.
  5. Support the Head of PMO to continuously improve and maintain fit for purpose of AZPNBL's Project Management framework.
  6. Communicate Project Governance practice updates and reminders for Project teams.
  7. Coordinate with Finance teams (Accounting and IT Finance) to reconcile project spend versus approved budget.
  8. Support the Head of PMO to monitor closely the Projects Registry to see governance compliance issues.
  • Min. 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in IT type companies with project management tasks
  • Proven knowledge of project management methodologies, techniques and tools; Certification in one of the prevailing project management methodologies desired but not required (e.g. IPMA, PMP, Prince II)
  • Knowledge and experience in agile methodologies is a plus
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and oral
  • Excellent stakeholder management combined with strong communication skills to create a collaborative environment
  • Experience in working with remote teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools such as Teams, SharePoint, Lists, Planner
  • Strong analytical thinking to break down issues or decisions into manageable pieces
  • Basic understanding of the OKR methodology (Objectives and Key Results)
